mimmi — Your employees' charging costs. Ready to process.

Since January 2026, charging costs for company cars must be documented per kilowatt-hour. The previous flat-rate allowances (up to €70/month) have been abolished. For you, this means: more receipts to review, more documentation, more effort in payroll accounting.

mimmi takes this off your hands.

Your employees record their charging sessions in mimmi. mimmi generates a tax-compliant monthly statement based on the official electricity price — ready for your payroll as a tax-free expense reimbursement (§ 3 No. 50 EStG).

What you get:

  • Monthly PDF statement per employee
  • Breakdown by kWh, price, and period
  • Compliant with BMF circular of 11.11.2025
  • No system setup, no access needed

Legal basis: BMF circular of 11.11.2025 on the tax treatment of reimbursement for company car charging expenses. View BMF circular →

What it costs:

€7 per employee per monthly statement. Most companies cover this cost — fully deductible as a business expense and cheaper than any in-house solution.

How is the service fee recorded?

The mimmi statement clearly separates electricity costs and service fee. Electricity costs are tax-free expense reimbursement (§ 3 No. 50 EStG). The €7 service fee is a business expense that you can book like any other software cost. Both are itemized separately on the statement.

Why not do it yourself?

You can. But: meter reading collection, electricity price assignment, plausibility checks, PDF generation, archiving — for every employee, every month. mimmi automates this and gives you audit-proof documents.
